Seriously people, do not miss this one.

Steve Clark, the new Men's Senior Director has just informed me that we have arranged a friendly match against a Paul Okon led side on Saturday the 30th January at our place, Mualla Dve at 4pm. (This will not clash with our Junior sign on which runs from 10am -2pm. )

For those of you not in the know, Paul is an ex-Socceroo with a long and distinguished career. Paul now resides on the Gold Coast and he is the Assistant Coach under Miron Bleiberg at Gold Coast United.

I have put the feelers out to see if we can get any info on who Paul may bring with him and will let you know in due course.

The same goes for our own Southport side. New Coach, Phil Staley will be wanting to see how his own lads perform after being back in training for a few weeks now.

So write the date in your calendars and come along and support your side.

PS. I've been told that the Reserves will be playing the Colts before hand kicking off at 230pm. So anyone who comes to sign on late in the day can stick around and see both matches.
