| Planning is well under way for the 2010 Season!
The off season may be a time to rest for some but I can assure you that there are a group of us that are very busy preparing for the 2010 season. Our sign on for the 2010 season is the 30th & 31st January and times TBA.
The Junior Committee and the "Let's Talk Football" group have been meeting regularly planning for next season with the aim of making it a better season than the last. Last season was good in many ways and your Junior Committee are a year wiser and better prepared for the challenges ahead.

We hope to have some news soon about new Club Shirts. The Junior Committee have agreed in principle the changing of the old style shirts to a new fresh look.I will post a photo as soon as possible.
Rob Booth has been appointed as the Junior Development Co-Ordinator and he is looking forward to the new season.
Southport have 6 junior teams playing at the Vikings Futsal competition at Musgrave each Monday afternoon. If you are in the area call in and give us some support. Games start at 5pm.
The Council are upgrading the fields at the moment and we should be getting improvements to the lighting on field 2 next off season which will be great.
